Lampshades

Wanted 2 small shades for either side of the bed and couldn't find any I liked so got plain cream ones and added ribbon and a bit of bling. Pleased, I think they are cute! Kate x

Bella and the birds

This is Bella my daughter Tillys 12 th birthday present so she is now 6. We wanted a ragdoll cat but couldn't afford one so we got a Birmin Persian cross instead and she is amazing. She gave us 2 gorgeous litters of kits now she runs the place. This evening she decided to retire next to my Victorian dome of hummingbirds on top of a cupboard keeping an eye on all the 4 dogs. I just have to try to relax I guess! Kate

Empty dresser

Well this is my unloved dining room as it is and I am hoping to make it look pretty this week. Everything is drab and mucky but I have some time so hope it will be ready for the weekend when o comes home. I procrastinate terribly though so don't hold your breath Kate x

Pretty pretty from tesco

Love these tea towels and oven gloves and being from tesco were v reasonable. I don't want to it them in kitchen cos the boys will spoil them!!! Maybe I should make ten into cushion covers? Kate x

Flash in snow

Flash in the snow

This is our bantam cockerel Flash showing one of his 3 lady friends where she can find some food. The bantams wander round the back garden and sometimes hop in the catflap! They are lovely and Flash wards off any unwanted attention from pigeons, dogs and cats. I just wish he was a bit quieter first thing in the morning but the neighbours are v kind and say its not a problem. Funny evening here as this evening last year O had a fit leading to diagnosis of a brain tumour (now fine) but I definitely feel edgy and scared. How illogical!

Poor Aurora

This is my vintage caravan Aurora which I plan to rehabilitate. I named her after a new day as I got her just after O returned home after an op to remove a brain tumour. She is my project and whilst the inside is brill fun to do up I am having trouble finding someone to fix an external panel. She is a 72 Castleton rovana and I hope she'll be my office/chill space. Roll on the sunshine so I can crack on with the work

Luna my puppy

This is Luna my 6 month old golden doodle. Gorgeous and bonkers she loved the snow but had moon boots of ice we had to pick off.

Spike in snow

Poor old Spike our 12 year old terrier cross always struggles in snow due to height restriction. Here he is this morning ruggedly determined to keep up(but with a chilly undercarriage). Gorgeous day if your not driving.

What a treat and how clever she is. This blog will hopefully follow me and my little business and the recouperation of my caravan Aurora from tired old lady to WonderOffice and retreat.
